4H project spotlights Five Core Values

Sixth grader Tyson Wilkins took on character for a 4H project and focused on NAIA Champions of Character core values. Tyson presented on Respect, Responsibility, Integrity, Sportsmanship and Servant Leadership. As a young athlete Tyson understands the important role character plays in and out of competition. Recently Kristin Gillette, NAIA Director of Champions of Character, sat down with Tyson to better understand why he thinks character plays a vital role in youth sports today.
