CHAMPIONS OF CHARACTER FIVE-STAR LEADERSHIP SCHOOL AWARD PROGRAM

New York State Public High School Athletic Association, Inc.

Together the NAIA and NYSPHSAA have developed a way to recognize high schools that are dedicated to leadership and character development: the Five-Star Leadership School Award Program. All secondary schools in the state have the opportunity to win the Champions of Character Five-Star Leadership School Banner Award. This annual leadership school award consists of a championship banner for winning schools to hang in their gym and a digital banner to post on their website.

Challenge in the given year.

Send its Athletics Director to the New York State Athletic Administrators Association spring convention in the given year.

Meet NYSPHSAA Sportsmanship Promotion Award requirements during a school year.

Completion of NAIA's Champions of Character Online Coaches Training by all Head Coaches, Head Sponsors, Head Directors of Registered NYSAAA Activities

Online Training of Parents, Participants and Coaches in all activities (fall, winter, spring, AND non-athletic activities) in which you are registered.
