About Champions of Character

Our Mission

Champions of Character is a nonprofit organization with the mission to change the culture of sport. We seek to replace the current cycle of cheating, trash talking, taunting and out of control behaviors found in today’s sports culture with integrity, respect, responsibility, sportsmanship and servant leadership.

Objectives

•  To provide opportunities for the Champions of Character process to be
    incorporated into athletic programs.

•  To increase the number of athletic programs intentionally teaching character.

•  To increase the number of parents and adult role models who are trained on how
    to give proper support and be positive influences on young men and women.

•  To positively impact the character development of students.

Keys to Success

•  Utilize school systems and youth sports organizations to provide structure and
   implementation.

•  Establish a strong network of state activity associations.

•  Maintain a high satisfaction rate with athletic administrators, coaches, students
   and parents.

•  Establish an effective training program that reaches a much larger audience with
   a reliable, consistent message.

•  Create new revenue from donors, sponsors, foundations, and individual gifts.
